Relationships between phosphatemia/phosphaturia and EEG/HRV parameters in patients with chronic pyelonephritis

Background. As part of the project "Relationships between parameters electrolytes exchange and EEG&HRV in people without kidney disease patients with chronic pyelonephritis" we have previously shown that calcium EEG/HRV are closely related. In this study, analyzed relationships phosphate same cohort patients. Material methods. The object observation were 48 males 15 females 24-76 years old, who came to spa Truskavets’ (Ukraine) for treatment pyelonephritis remission. We recorded simultaneosly EEG (“NeuroCom Standard”) electrocardiogram ("CardioLab+HRV") II lead assess HRV. Phosphate concentration was determined blood plasma daily urine. Results. It stated normal or moderately reduced levels combination a very wide range urinary excretion. A strong canonical correlation found phosphatemia (R=0,982). correlations beta theta rhythms HRV positive, while delta rhythm negative. phosphaturia is also (R=0,879). Conclusion. Parameters related, however question causal nature remains open.
